Steve Anderson Bio
Steve
is a home designer, developer and builder offering over 35
years of construction experience.
Steve’s construction experience began back in Ohio when he
began working in his family owned building business. In 1974
Steve moved with his family to Orlando Florida. Before
beginning his first building business in 1980, he gained
corporate experience working with companies such as Lowe’s.
While there, he earned recognition as “salesperson of the
year.”
Steve worked for multiple construction companies
including Showcase Homes, Continental Homes, and former U.S.
Homes. He understands the construction business, both large
and small. He has logged over 100,000 hours of direct sales,
design, framing, building, development, and related
construction experience. His knowledge of all aspects of the
residential and commercial building is surpassed by few in
the construction industry. In addition, Steve was a founding
member of Suntree United Methodist Church, and former youth
director, and is now a current member of Faith Fellowship
Church and Sunday school teacher.
Steve, along with his wife, Terry Anderson teach Sunday
school at Faith Fellowship Church for 6th, 7th and 8th grade
students. Steve has been a volunteer for Habitat for
Humanity and he truly has a heart for the community. Steve
was a former board member of South Orlando Rowing
Association and is a current member of Brevard Home Builders
and Contractors Association and the Volusia Home Builders
Association. Steve and his wife Terry host together Our
House Radio Show every Saturday at 10am to 11am on Brevard’s
1300am WMEL your
“Talk to me station” where they
serve the community answering construction and building
questions. They also address those issues that impact “Our
House” and “Our Lives”
Steve has also won first place in the HBCA of Brevard county
2001 “parade of homes” in the $350,000 to $400,000 category.
Steve and Terry in 2007 won the Volusia county home
builder’s “Parade of Homes” (award of excellence) in the
$1,400,000 category. Most recently, Steve and Terry won
first place in the 2008 Volusia county “Parade of Homes” in
the $450,000 category. He is uniquely qualified to design,
build, develop, and teach construction and has built over
$100 million worth of projects throughout central and east
coastal Florida.

Terry Anderson Bio
Terry
along with her two brothers, sister and parents moved to
Central Florida in 1976 when her father was transferred from
Denver to Orlando with Martin Marietta. She graduated from
University of Central Florida with a B. S. B. A. in Finance.
Since her graduation, she has worked in several industries
including publishing, pharmaceutical/healthcare, corporate
recruiting and hospitality property management in the areas
of accounting / finance, headhunting and sales and
marketing. In addition, she bought her first lot and built
her first house when she was just 24 years old.
Terry also served as President of the Mid-Florida Chapter of
the Institute of Management Accountants from 2003-2004.
Under her tenure as President, her chapter won a national
banner award, and a gold medal for their website and a
silver medal for her chapter’s newsletter. Prior to that
time she held various other VP roles on the board in the
areas of Administration & Finance, Membership and
Professional Education.
Terry is President and a state certified residential
contractor (License #CRC1330235) for Anderson Custom
Creations, Inc. In addition, she is a licensed Realtor in
the state of Florida, also a licensed Home Inspector and she is involved in the hands on
construction, sales / marketing, home shows, the radio
program and just about anything that is client related on a
project. Her position calls for a high level of technical
knowledge as well as strong client interaction.
Terry, along with her husband Steve are responsible for
marketing and sales and utilize their radio program, “Our
House Radio” on Brevard’s 1300am WMEL your
“Talk to me
station” as well as the area home shows and
client referrals to drive their company’s custom home
building business.
Terry’s other responsibilities range from getting final
client approvals and ordering of finishes; working with
vendors to ensure accurate specifications and timely
delivery; managing line-item budgets related to finishes;
managing critical path timelines; and always communicating
with the client. Terry and Steve in 2007 won the Volusia
county home builder’s “Parade of Homes” (award of
excellence) in the $1,400,000 category. Most recently, Terry
and Steve won first place in the 2008 Volusia county “Parade
of Homes” in the $450,000 category
Finally, Terry and Steve are the proud parents of four
daughters ages 26, 23, 22 and 14…two of which graduated
college in 2009. Terry also assists Steve in teaching Sunday
school to the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Faith Fellowship
Church in Melbourne.
